How to deploy Apps from Windows Store for Business with Intune – Mobile-First Cloud-First

Now it is final possible to deploy Windows Apps from Windows Store for Business with Intune.

In Windows Store for Business you need to add Intune as a Management tools

Now after the SaaS Intune is upgraded to version 5.0.6161.0 it is possible to deploy Windows Store for Business Windows Apps with Intune.

Be sure that you already are signed up for Windows Store for Business and has configured Management Tools as Microsoft Intune.

Under Windows Store for Business – Click “Configure Sync”

Enable Windows Store for Business sync

Select Language

Click Ok

And now it is syncing

Intune automatically syncs with Windows Store for Business twice a day

When the sync is finish  you can find your Windows Store for Business Apps in Intune.

You find the apps under Apps –> Volume Purchased Apps

By selection one of the apps you can Manage Deployment

Select the User group that you want to deploy the app to

Click Next

You have 2 options for deploying the app.

  • Required Install
  • Uninstall

Select Required Install

Click Finish

As soon as the user sync with Intune or wait for it to sync automatic the App is getting installed.

And now it installs automatic
