Unable to activate virtual Windows 2012 R2 server on Hyper-V – Mobile-First Cloud-First
I had a problem at a customer to day.
After I have deployed a virtual Windows 2012 R2 server from MDT to a Hyper-V 2012 R2 enviroment – it was not possible to activate the virtual server with Microsoft Automatic Virtual Machine Activation.
The error was “cannot find the KMS server”!
The solutions:
Enter the Microsoft Automatic Virtual Machine Activation by using this command:
cscript.exe c:windowssystem32slmgr.vbs /ipk DBGBW-NPF86-BJVTX-K3WKJ-MTB6V
The it was now possible to activate the virtuel Windows 2012 R2 server
The it just was putting it into the MDT deployment solutions:
